Not sure why there was a sudden influx of cactus drawings and I'm not sure why I haven't drawn any lately; but here are some cactus drawings as well as a few odds and ends I scanned in the other day. I've got another stack somewhere that I've got to scan in too! Yehaw.
Above from reference

ReplyDeletebtw, For architecture, pick up 'form space and order in architecture' by francis d. k. Ching. It's a fundamental architecture textbook from what I've heard and read. I love it. (he has alot of great books. I was told anything with his name on it is pure gold)
(cuz i remember you saying you were trying to work your arch muscle some more :P)

ReplyDeleteThe cactus and desert sketches are awesome; I really appreciate how you drop in a human figure to sell the scale in all of these. the energy on these are great, I'm guessing they're drawn pretty fast and small, right?
ReplyDeleteAwesome blog, gotta go back and check all the older entries!
